our settings from one practice session to the next will be retained.
You can adjust any setting during a practice session (with such adjustments going into effect upon the beginning of the next Phase in which that setting is applicable). This gives you the ability to assess how you are feeling during the practice session and make adjustments to your practice on the fly.
On the settings page you can adjust the following: 1) the speed of the breaths taken during the hyperventilation phase, 2) the number of breaths taken during the hyperventilation phase, 3) the duration of the recovery breath, 4) whether or not there is a verbal cue preparing you to hold your breath on the last exhalation of the hyperventilation phase, and 5) whether or not there is a chime at the end of each minute during the breath holding phase.
